Wholefoods Market

Strategic Design | CPG & Retail Innovation | Scalable Brand Systems I am a Southern California Creative Director with 9 years of experience sitting at the high-stakes intersection of design, marketing, and commercial strategy. My background in Industrial Design and Marketing allows me to view brand building through a unique lens: I don’t just design for the eye; I design for the hand, the shelf, and the bottom line. Throughout my career—ranging from agile startups to established corporate environments—I have specialized in transforming abstract concepts into high-performing visual ecosystems. I’ve built the scalable workflows that allow brand systems to grow, and I’ve led packaging and e-commerce initiatives that have directly translated into successful, recurring revenue streams.I believe that creative leadership is about more than just 'the big idea.' It’s about creating a culture of clarity and empowerment where teams can experiment, solve complex problems, and deliver work that outpaces the market. By blending technical precision in Adobe Creative Cloud with a deep understanding of consumer psychology, I ensure that every touchpoint tells a consistent, compelling, and profitable story.

Challenge
During Amazon’s acquisition of Whole Foods, the brand faced a unique moment of transition. The need was to maintain Whole Foods’ trusted, natural identity while integrating new messaging, signage, and in-store visuals that aligned with both company standards.

Process
I collaborated directly with department managers and marketing teams to create store signage, campaign collateral, and Amazon integration visuals. Each piece was designed to feel authentic to Whole Foods’ warm, organic identity while ensuring clarity and consistency during a time of rapid change. Designed departmental signage and seasonal campaign visuals across the store. Produced Amazon acquisition signage, ensuring brand continuity while introducing a new partner brand presence.
Maintained brand compliance across digital and print executions, upholding Whole Foods’ aesthetic integrity.

Result
The updated visuals strengthened the in-store experience during a critical brand transition, providing shoppers with a seamless visual journey that honored Whole Foods’ identity while signaling its new partnership with Amazon. The work ensured brand trust, clarity, and engagement during a high-visibility corporate shift.
